Creating an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

The Sycamore Innovation Lab actively works with the campus community to foster an entrepreneurial mindset. Whether you're ready to start a business, have started a business, have an idea you would like to pitch, or want to have a business one day, but have no idea where to start - we're here to help! We utilize our vast network of campus and community resources to provide students, faculty, staff, and the community with the guidance and expertise they need to inspire and launch in to action.

Experiential Entrepreneurship

We offer a one-stop shop where students, faculty, and community members can create ideas, discuss and develop business models, engage in hands on learning in a “free think” atmosphere, brainstorm, enhance current models, establish relationships, and create new ventures.

Community Engagement

Our engagement with the community goes beyond being a provider of educational services.  We partner with Launch Terre Haute, the ISBDC, and the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce to connect small businesses and entrepreneurs to resources that support economic development. These partnerships offer students business experience through project based work that the businesses need. The businesses engage the students and are provided the services in-kind - a win-win for the businesses and for the students.
